Accessibility Statement
What we are aiming for
Booking a repair shouldn’t depend on how you use a computer or phone. TrueFix Charlotte uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as the yardstick for this website. That is a goal we work toward, not a claim that every page already meets it, and no outside body has audited the site against it.
What we design for
- headings in a logical order so screen-reader users can jump between sections;
- form fields with visible labels, and error messages written as text rather than color alone;
- links, menus and forms that can be reached and used with a keyboard;
- text alternatives for images that carry meaning;
- layouts that reflow on small screens and hold up when text is enlarged.
Where it may fall short
Some parts of the site may not work as well as they should, especially embedded content from other companies, such as analytics or maps, which we don’t fully control. Pages are added and changed over time, and a problem can slip in. We would rather hear about it than have you give up.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, let us know which page it was on, what you were trying to do and, if you like, what device or assistive technology you were using. You can reach us through the request form on our homepage or by email at truefixcharlotte@gmail.com or by phone at (980) 441-1116.
If the form itself is the barrier, contact us directly instead and we will take the booking that way and send any information you need in a format you can use.
We try to reply within a few business days and to fix confirmed problems as soon as we reasonably can. If we can’t fix something quickly, we will help you get what you came for by another route.
